Movement Guidelines

  • Baguio City is under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) but non-essential / leisure travel to Baguio City is currently suspended.

General Guidelines - Once Tourism Resumes

  • Go to visita.baguio.gov.ph and create an account with your valid ID and current photo, then schedule a visit. Individual registration and travel request is required for all.
  • The city is limited to 3,000 tourists per day with an ETA reservation system on a first-come first-served basis. Strictly no QTP no entry at the border.
  • RT-PCR (swab or saliva) negative test result is required within 72 hours prior to arrival in the City for ages below 18 and above 65.
  • Travelers shall submit themselves for health assessment at City Triage Units.
  • Curfew is from 12 midnight to 4AM.
  • Liquor ban will be imposed from 10pm to 10am.
  • Children below 15 years old must always be accompanied by adults. They may not be allowed entry in some private establishments.
  • Vaccinated or not, the minimum public health standards and protocols must be followed at all times.

Entry Requirements - Once Tourism Resumes

  • Valid government-issued ID
  • Duly issued VISITA QTP, which can be obtained by registering (the QTP will be presented at the border for verification)
  • RT-PCR (swab or saliva) negative test result is required within 72 hours prior to arrival in the City for ages below 18 and above 65. For ages 18 to 65, antigen test results can be accepted and can be availed upon arrival at the city triages.
  • As an alternative to the above, a vaccination card / certificate can be uploaded during registration and presented at the triage upon arrival. Individuals vaccinated outside of the Philippines must present Certificate of Quarantine Completion, showing holder's vaccination status. Card / certificate must show complete/full vaccination, meaning 2 weeks must have elapsed after the second / last dose.

Registrants at https://visita.baguio.gov.ph/ are directed to process their applications at least twenty four (24) hours prior to entering the City. NO QTP, NO ENTRY.

While in Baguio

  • Follow existing minimum health and safety protocols and city ordinances while in the city.
  • Wearing of face mask and face shield is mandatory.
  • Observe physical distancing.
  • Wash / sanitize hands.
  • Comply with the tourist establishment's and venue's allowable maximum capacity.
  • Avoid enclosed and crowded areas
