Movement Guidelines
- Ilocos Sur province is under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions. Vigan, meanwhile, is under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) until September, 7 2021. Tourists are not allowed to enter until further notice.
- Indoor tourist attractions shall not be allowed to operate.
- Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) events are not allowed.
Entry Requirements - Once Tourism Resumes
- Apply for a travel pass on Tara Na!
- Any government issued identification card
- Booking confirmation from DOT accredited travel agent
- Negative RT-PCR test if coming from ECQ, MECQ and GCQ areas issued within 72 hours prior to travel.
- RT-PCR test issued within 72 hours prior to travel or antigen test taken 24 hours upon entry if coming from MGCQ areas.
As per DOH Regulation, the saliva test is recognized only if conducted by RED CROSS as an alternative specimen for RT-PCR among all PCR labs and shall be permitted as a valid test before entering the province provided that the same shall be used 72 hours upon release.
