Metro Manila is home to millions of Filipinos, and it also welcomes millions of tourists and business travelers each year. As such, the region’s government has implemented various travel guidelines for everyone’s safety. Here's what you need to know:

Quarantine Category

Metro Manila will remain under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) until September 7, 2021.

Movement Guidelines

  • Indoor and al fresco dine-in services shall not be allowed.
  • Movement of APORs (Authorized Persons Outside Residence) shall be limited to accessing goods and services from permitted establishments or for work in such establishments.
  • No leisure flights and tourism activities allowed.
  • Any person below eighteen (18) years old, those who are over sixty-five (65) years of age, those with immunodeficiency, comorbidity, or other health risks, and pregnant women shall be required to remain in their residences at all times.

Entry rules:

  • For all inbound travelers who have been fully vaccinated in the Philippines, either their Local Government Unit (LGU) / hospital-issued vaccination cards (in original and/or hard copy form), OR LGU-issued Vaccine Certificate, OR BOQ-issued ICV shall be presented upon arrival.
  • For all inbound travelers who have been fully vaccinated outside the Philippines, either their Vaccination Card OR the ICV issued by other countries shall be presented upon arrival.
  • Foreign leisure tourists are still not allowed to enter.
