Before you enter Palawan’s paradise, take note of all the important travel advisories and guidelines to keep both tourists and locals safe.

Quarantine Category

  • Puerto Princesa will be on GCQ from July 16 - July 31, 2021.
  • Effective June 15 to August 1, 2021, recreation / leisure / tourism activities will not be allowed in Coron.
  • El Nido will not accept inbound tourists except for those in point-to-point travel bubbles originating from inside and outside of Palawan until further notice.

Guidelines Specific to Palawan

EL NIDO

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR PALAWAN-BASED TOURISTS

  • QR-coded Tourist Id (QT-ID). Get this from https://elnidotourism.ph/ by submitting the required documents
  • Negative Antigen test regult within 24 hrs
  • Proof of Palawan Residency
  • Booking / reservation in DOT-accredited hotel

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR OTHER DOMESTIC TOURISTS

  • QR-coded Tourist Id (QT-ID). Get this from https://elnidotourism.ph/ by submitting the required documents. Cut-off of application is at 3pm the day before the guest arrives.
  • Negative Antigen test regult within 72 hrs
  • S-Pass travel application
  • Booking / reservation in DOT-accredited hotel
  • Private transportation from the point of entry to the hotel and vice versa
  • Roundtrip tickets
  • Valid identification card

FOR THOSE STAYING IN EL NIDO RESORTS

  • Direct booking with the sales and reservations team through holiday@elnidoresorts.com or +63 9175841576
  • No pre-existing health risks or comorbidities (such as hypertension, diabetes, cancer, immunocompromised health status, a serious heart condition, chronic lung disease, moderate to severe asthma, or pregnant)
  • Negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours at a DOH-accredited facility
  • Submission of Travel Declaration and Health Declaration forms

All tourists staying in El Nido for more than 7 days must accomplish an antigen test on their 8th day in El Nido. Tourists who will test positive on the antigen will undergo mandatory 7-day facility quarantine. Testing and quarantine fees will be shouldered by the tourist.Please note as well that tourists must have a digital copy or printed copy of all requirements when entering El Nido.

  • Small Lagoon Premium, Big Lagoon Premium, Matinloc Island Premium, Tapiutan Strait, Cave Exploration, History Islands, Cadlao Channel, Nacpan Beach, Duli Beach, Ille Cave, Dewil Mangrove, Lio Estate, Marimegmeg Beach, Via Feratta Canopy Walk, El Nido Resorts

CORON

Leisure travel is only allowed for the following:

  • Individuals coming from Culion (until July 31) are allowed entry but need to present a negative Antigen test result taken within 24 hrs before departure and a certificate of coordination from Coron EOC
  • Individuals coming from Linapacan

  • Kayangan Lake, Baracuda Lake, Twin Lagoon, Banol Beach, Smith Beach, Vivian Beach, Beach 91, Dicantuman Beach, Maynuno Beach, Atuayan Beach, Skeleton Wreck, Sunset Beach, CYC Beach, Malcapuya Beach, Banana Island, Bulog Dos Island, Coco Beach, Ditaytayan Beach, Demanglet Island, Siete Picados Marine Park, Bintuan Marine Park, Maquinit Hot Springs, Valley Beach, Cabu Beach, Mt. Tapyas, Mt. Tundara, Mt. Avangan Eco Resort

PUERTO PRINCESA

Requirements

  • Identification card (ID)
  • S-Pass Travel Coordination Permit
  • StaySafe.ph QR code
  • Negative RT-PCR test result (swabbed within 48 hrs before arrival or before flight). To ensure legitimacy of the result, inbound travelers shall instruct their chosen DOH-accredited testing facility to email the result directly to the city's Incident Management Team (IMT)
  • Vaccination card or ID (for travelers who will only stay in the city for three days)
  • Return ticket (for travelers who will only stay in the city for three days)
  • Itinerary with tours and accommodation booked via a DOT-accredited travel agency or hotel
  • Those who intend to stay for more than three days must undergo 7-day quarantine in a city facility and rapid antigen test
  • All travels must be coordinated with the IMT Travel Team, through a letter addressed to Dr. Dean L. Palanca, IMT Incident Commander, which may be reached at: imtcovid.reqppc@gmail.com. Inbound passengers need to include the reason for travel, including the required documents.
